Combatting Global Warming

So I hear that the melting of the icecaps (plus glaciers, etc.) is a major cause of the increasing rate of global warming. That's because the relative albedo (not libido) of ice is much higher than that of rock, dirt, or water. When the icecaps aren't there, more radiant heat from the sun is absorbed.

So here's the idea: Artificial icecaps.

We've got all sorts of unused land, especially in places like northern Canada and Russia. Why not simply cover them in white plastic?

Yes, it's almost too ingenious.

Anyways, no need to reduce emissions. Just make more white plastic, quick. That, or Reynolds wrap.

Motivation

my brother's battalion commander (his boss) lost both his legs to an ied in may, and has been recovering at ralter weed. a football player at the academy, he's been recognized at a different game each weekend since the season started -- dook retired a jersey for him at their mil appreciation game, and he spoke at his alma mater the day they played rh island.. this past weekend, he spoke to an nfl team. (article here). I continue to be floored by the faith, courage, and character of this man, as much before he was wounded as now.

I watched Hlinton and thought to myself, "Man, she's pretty freakin' good". I thus concluded that she will be the next POTUS.
